Anandamide - A canna.binoid that the body naturally makes on its own. Located in the brain, Anandamide is a neurotransmitter that binds to canna.binoid receptors. Comes from the Sanskrit word "ananda" which means joy or bliss. Commonly referred to as the bodies bliss chemical.
Big 6 - The 6 most researched cannabinoids (CBD, C.B.C, C.B.N, C.B.G, T.H.C, T.H.C.V). There are over 460 known chemical compounds of the cann.abis plant.
Bioavailable - Refers to the rate and the extent at which the oil administered reaches its point.
Canna.binoids - A group of closely related compounds that include cannabinol and the active constituents of cannabis.
C.B.C - (Canna.bichromene) - Discovered over 50 years ago, C.B.C is considered one of the “big six” canna.binoids prominent in medical research. The second most abundant canna.binoid in drug-type, synthetic, canna.bis. Canna.bichromene is evaluated for being anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
C.B.D - (Canna.bidiol) - Canna.bidiol is one of at least 113 canna.binoids identified in canna.bis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract. Anti-inflammatory, anti-epileptic, anti-proliferative, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-biotic, analgesic, anti-anxiety. Promotes bone health, skin health, eye health and so much more.
C.B.D/.V - (Canna.bidivarian) - Anti-convulsant. This powerful phytocannabinoid is actively being developed and produced synthetically by GW Pharmaceuticals. "shown the ability to treat seizures in pre-clinical models of epilepsy with significantly fewer side effects than currently approved anti-epileptic drugs." Also known to reduce inflammation and treat neurological disorders.
C.B.G - (Canna.bigerol) - T.H.C and C.B.D start out as C.B.G—it’s the chemical parent of T.H.C and C.B.D. It all starts with C.B.G. Research has shown C.B.G effective in treating Glaucoma, reducing intraoccqular pressure as a vasodilator and is neuroprotective.
C.B.G.A- (Canna.bigerol Acid) - The stem cell canna.binoid as it all starts here. C.B.G.A is a building block for all other canna.binoids and is mostly researched for its role in the biosynthesis of other canna.binoids. C.B.G.A encourages apoptosis or programmed cell death.
C.B.N - (Canna.binol) - C.B.N’s most pronounced attribute is its sedative property. A great choice as a pain reliever, it is also antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, stimulates bone growth and healing. Anti-insomnia, anti-bacterial, promotes appetite, stimulates bone growth.
C.B.1 Receptors - Canna.binoid receptors located in the brain.
C.B.2 Receptors - Canna.binoid receptors that modulate the immune system.
Certificate of analysis (COA) - An analysis of the C.B.D product. All of our products are third party lab tested for purity and potency with every batch.
D-Limonene - A (terpene) compound naturally found in all citrus fruits, which may be used to prevent cancer, boost your metabolism, relieve heartburn, and reduce stress and anxiety without the side effects of prescription drugs. My Hemp Benefits uses D-Limonene terpenes for its pleasant citrus taste and its health benefits such as anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, anti-carcinogenic and liver healthy.
Endo.canna.binoid - Endo.canna.binoids are molecules that are naturally produced by cells in the human body. These molecules bind to or activate cannabinoid receptors in the same way that cannabis does, whether it is THC or C.B.D. "Endo" means "within", as within the body our cells naturally produce endo.canna.binoids.
Endogenous Canna.binoid System or E.C.S. - A system of receptors in all humans and animals. When endocannabinoids bind to or stimulate these receptors, our immune, endocrine and nervous systems can now communicate with themselves and work together to achieve homeostasis or balance in the body.
Entourage effect - Different compounds have their own therapeutic benefit, and they combine synergistically to provide a far better performance than any single compound, including C.B.D. All of the plants extracted cannabinoids, flavanoids and terpenoids are all working together with each other and has a better overall value to the body as a result.
Essential Fatty Acids - Fatty acids that humans and animals must ingest for optimal health that the body cannot synthesize. (Also see Omega 3's)
Farm Bill Act of 2014 Section 7606 - A state pilot program that allowed farmers to plant and cultivate hemp that does not contain more that 0.3% THC.
Full Spectrum - Whole plant C.B.D which contains all other canna.binoids present in the h.e.m.p plant including CBN (Canna.binol), C.B.G (Canna.bigerol), and T.H.C.V (Tetrahydro.canna.bivarin), to name a few, during the extraction. A full spectrum C.B.D oil has different canna.binoids, flavanoids and terpenoids from extraction.
H.e.m.p - A variety of the Canna.bis Sativa plant. The h.e.m.p plant has been used for thousands of years, medicinally for healing and also industrially for textiles, paper and plastic. A h.e.m.p plant grows with minimal trace amounts of T.H.C, is legal in all 50 states and has been used on our planet for thousands of years.
H.e.m.p Farming Act of 2018 - A proposed law to remove H.E.M.P from Schedule 1 controlled substance abuse list and making it once again an agricultural commodity.
Homeostasis - A property of cells, tissues, and organisms that allows the maintenance and regulation of the stability and constancy needed to function properly. Our bodies are created to heal and achieve a state of balance, or homeostasis, within the body. C.B.D oil allows your body to communicate with itself to achieve homeostasis.
Isolate - Simply purified C.B.D that has been extracted from the hemp plant and isolated from the other cannabinoids. It is separated form the plants other naturally occurring canna.binoids, terpenoids and flavanoids.
Mari.juana - A psychoactive variety of the Canna.bis plant.
Nano - Nano enhanced, nano technology, or nano sized it refers to the size of the actual C.B.D oil particle. A nano sized oil is beneficial because it is quickly bioavailable to the body and crosses the blood brain barrier.
Neurogenesis - The generation of new neurons in the hippocampus area of the brain.
Neuroprotective - Effects that may result in salvage, recovery or regeneration of the nervous system, its cells, structure and function. The U.S. government currently holds a patent recognizing cannabis as neuroprotective.
Omega 3's - Fatty acids found in protein necessary for great health, found in plants and nuts.
Phyto.canna.binoid - Canna.binoids that are naturally occurring in the canna.bis plant.
Sublingual administration - Pharmacological route of administering CBD oil by which substances diffuse into the blood through tissues under the tongue.
Supercritical CO2 Extraction - The cleanest and preferred method of extraction in the medical cannabis and therapeutic h.e.m.p industries, free of alcohol and solvents.
Terpene - Fragrant essential oils secreted from the resin gland of the plant. When you smell a flower or a lemon, you are smelling the plants terpenes.
T.H.C - (tetrahydro.canna.binol) - T.H.C is one of the 113 chemical compounds found only in the Cannabis plant, called phytocannabinoids. T.H.C however, is unique among all the rest for one, massively important reason: it’s the most potently psychoactive. T.H.C has many health benefits and if required, should be used under the care of a licensed medical mari.juana doctor, because a medical mari.juana ID card is required.
T.H.C.V - (tetrahydro.canna.bivarin) - A compound in canna.bis that offers a unique array of effects and medical benefits that sets it apart from other cannabinoids like T.H.C and C.B.D. T.H.C.V is the raw form of T.H.C before it becomes heated or decarboxylated.

Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants
Canna.binoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The canna.binoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive canna.binoids, such as canna.bidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention. A particular disclosed class of canna.binoids useful as neuroprotective antioxidants is formula (I) wherein the R group is independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH.sub.3, and COCH.sub.3. ##STR1##
